1. Who is responsible

Address in the EU: Gampeon, 363 Triq Manwel Dimech, SLM 1058 Sliema, Malta. Address in the USA: 651 N Broad St, Suite 206, Middletown, DE 19709, USA.

Our establishment in Malta is our point of contact inside the EU, so we do not name a separate representative under Art. 27 GDPR. Because the company is also based in the USA, data may be processed there. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the website gampeon-studios.com, currently a single page announcing our first games.

3. When you open the website

Our web server automatically processes the technical data your browser sends: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. Without this data the site cannot be delivered or protected against attacks. Log files are kept only as long as they are needed for this and are then deleted automatically.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a secure website that works.

4. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services and builds no user profiles. Fonts, pictures and videos come from our own server; nothing is loaded from other companies.

The page shows one of several looks of our cat. To show you a different one next time, your browser keeps the name of the last look (for example “classic”) under the key gampeon-hero in its local storage. This value never leaves your device, and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

5. “Notify me” and e-mail

If you use the “Notify me” form, your own e-mail program opens a message to us; nothing is stored on this website. When you send it, we use your address only to tell you once when we launch, and delete it when you ask us to, or after the launch announcement at the latest. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time with an e-mail to us (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).

If you e-mail us for any other reason, we use your address and your message to answer you, and delete them once the matter is settled, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your message concerns a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

6. Who receives data

Our hosting provider runs the server for this website and processes the data above on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To use them, write to hello@gampeon-studios.com.

8. Complaints

You can complain to a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR): the one where you live, where the suspected infringement took place, or the one for our EU establishment, the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta. In Germany this is usually the authority of your federal state.

9. Changes

We update this policy when the website or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
